The Beast Rake Race Week 2

How much did the Beast on ACR  payout last week?

Last week we posted a breakdown of how the The Beast UnleashedBeast Rake Race on ACR adapted to the New Free Format.

We took daily readings once again to see how the Jackpot progressed last week.

Saturday 4/12 8AM $12,036, 5PM $13,111

Sunday 4/13 6AM $15,634, 5PM $17,067

Monday 4/14 5AM $19,980, 5:30PM $21,358

Tuesday 4/15 1PM $25,086

Wednesday 4/16 4PM $29,577

Thursday 4/17 8AM $32,659, 4PM $33,762

Friday 4/18 8AM $37,070, 4:30PM $38, 151

These daily totals show a consistent increase of $4K per day on the Beast.

The past week, ending at midnight April 19, The Beast paid out a total of $29,850. The first week of the free Beast paid out $36,689.

This is $29K in free money that ACR is paying back to players on the Beast.

90 players won Cash, First place paid $2980 while finishing 90th won $104.

137 players collected $55 tournament seats to the April 27th LSOP Millions II seat package event.

Other ACR news:

BIG TEN $12.5K GTD

ACR increased the buy-in on the nightly Big Ten $12.5K GTD to $30 (28+2)

This can be good for players, the Tournament still guarantees $12.5 K but  has had a slight impact on total players involved. The first couple of nights at the new buy-in I’ve seen 380 to 400 runners each night, smaller fields are a little less taxing to win and it lowers the number of positions paid, so each time you cash, you will win more.

$20K High Roller

Starting on May 4th at 6:30PM ET look for the 20K High Roller tournament.

This new tournament has a 10K chip stack, 20 minute blinds and $20,000 guarantee with a buy-in of $530.

The Beast on ACR to become a Weekly Race for Cash

The Beast Gets More Ferocious With New Weekly Points Race Format Starting February 1st.

Americas Cardroom has unveiled the plan to make The Beast even more player friendly in February.

Here’s the press release announcing the change…….

ACR San Jose, Costa Rica – January 24, 2014 – Poker players with big appetites for winning are going to love this. The US-friendly online poker site Americas Cardroom today announced that their popular points race, The Beast, is taking on a new weekly format. The move to a 7-day points race comes just a few months after The Beast morphed from a monthly event into a twice-monthly one on October 1st, 2013.

“We’ve heard our community loud and clear,” said Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris. “America has responded in record numbers to The Beast and told us that they love getting rewarded more often. So rather than resting on our chip stack, we’ve upped the ante in a major way by transforming The Beast into a weekly event.”

The new weekly Beast gives poker players a new chance to race to the top every week for cash prizes and tourney seats. Each race runs from Saturday at 00:00 until the following Friday at 23:59. Poker players who win a cash prize will see the money paid into their account by end-of-day every Monday. Any tournament seat wins are paid out on the Sunday following the cash prize payout.

The Beast is Americas Cardroom’s progressive points race that’s funded entirely through the poker site’s designated tables, using players’ shared contribution money. At the end of each 7-day period, the prize pool in The Beast is distributed to players who rank on The Beast leaderboard.

Players compete on two leaderboards simultaneously—a cash leaderboard and a tournament leaderboard. The cash leaderboard pays out as much as $20,000 to the top player, and the tournament leaderboard pays out seats in major online tournaments that award big prizes like seats in 6-figure guarantees or packages for the Punta Cana Poker Classic or LSOP land-based tournaments.

Anyone who sits down at a cash table marked Jackpot automatically becomes part of The Beast competition by earning points through participation in a raked hand. While more points are earned at higher stake levels, everyone participating in the same raked hand earns the same number of points—regardless of how much rake they contributed to the pot.

The new weekly format means that players will now have the opportunity to participate in a brand new large-scale Beast tournament every week. Americas Cardroom is famous for its Beast tournaments, in which players can win a spot by ranking on the Beast leaderboard. The new format means that Americas Cardroom will host a new Beast tournament every week.

ACR Beast Rake Race Pays out $132,646 in July

The Final Results are in,

The Beast on Americas Cardroom has been everything it was said it would be.

Here is the Official Statement on the July results from Americas Cardroom:

San Jose, Costa Rica – August 3, 2012 – It turns out online poker player GiFt oF Gab knows how to talk the talk and walk the walk. The online poker player took control of The Beast leaderboard in July, earning $10,400 in cash for taming The Beast. GiFt oF Gab is one of 501 poker players who shared in The Beast’s $132,646 combined cash and tournament prize pool for July.

The Beast is Americas Cardroom’s groundbreaking new progressive points race that’s funded entirely through Americas Cardroom’s jackpot tables, using players’ shared jackpot contribution money. At the end of each month, the prize pool in The Beast is distributed to players who rank on The Beast leader board.

A total of 312 players won a piece of The Beast’s cash prize pool for July, which hit $78,037. And 501, including the initial 312 players, were awarded a $100+9 Punta Cana Poker Classic Super Satellite entry, adding up to $54,609 in tournament entries.

The top 10 cash winners included clutch352, who won a Lima Series of Poker package earlier this year, and crazymichael1, who won Americas Cardroom’s $250,000 Guarantee on April 15.

Anyone who sits down at a cash table marked Jackpot automatically becomes part of The Beast competition by earning points through participation in a raked hand. While more points are earned at higher stake levels, everyone participating in the same raked hand earns the same number of points—regardless of how much rake they contributed to the pot.

The Beast leader board features two prize pools—a cash prize pool and a tournament entry prize pool. Players automatically compete for both prizes by ranking on the leader board, and the July winners will find themselves in the Punta Cana Poker Classic Super Satellite where several $5,000 all-inclusive packages are on the line.

Because The Beast grows using money generated at Jackpot tables, the more people who play at the jackpot tables, the greater the prize pool, and, in turn, the more people who’ll reap the rewards.

The Beast is one of two jackpots at Americas Cardroom. Part of the money collected at jackpot tables is still contributed to the Bad Beat Jackpot, which pops randomly so players at Americas Cardroom still have the opportunity to win big money when they least expect it.

ACR Press release on The Beast $100K Milestone!

We reported this earlier today, however the message is the same—The Beast is wildly Popular!!!

Jaws drop at online poker tables around America as major $100,000 milestone reached in first 11 days of The Beast’s existence.

THE BEAST San Jose, Costa Rica – July 11, 2012 – The Beast is officially out of control. The wildly popular progressive points race at Americas Cardroom saw its jackpot climb to over $100,000 on Wednesday morning, a major milestone not just for Americas Cardroom, but also for all of online poker.

With a $100,000 prize pool and still 20 days to go in July, The Beast, a progressive points race that’s funded through Americas Cardroom’s jackpot tables, is now predicted to become the richest points race in online poker history. The prize pool is funded using players’ shared jackpot contribution money. At the end of each month, the prize pool in The Beast is distributed to players who rank on The Beast leaderboard.

Anyone who sits down at a cash table marked Jackpot automatically becomes part of The Beast competition by earning points through participation in a raked hand. While more points are earned at higher stake levels, everyone participating in the same raked hand earns the same number of points—regardless of how much rake they contributed to the pot.

The Beast leaderboard features two prize pools—a cash prize pool (estimated to fall in 6-figure territory every month) and a tournament entry prize pool. For the launch of The Beast, online poker players will be able to win free $109 entries to a Punta Cana Poker Classic Super Satellite, where prize packages worth $5,000 apiece are on the line. Players automatically compete for both prizes by ranking on the leaderboard.
