ACR’s Online Super Series returns this December

Americas Cardroom Announces its Biggest Online Super Series ever With $3.1 Million in Guarantees.

Here is the Press Release direct from Americas Cardroom……

San Jose, Costa Rica – November 21, 2016 –Call it a slightly early Christmas present or a post-Thanksgiving reason to be extra thankful. Americas Cardroom today announced OSS VIII, a 78-event online tournament series featuring more than $3.1 million in guaranteed prize money. The series runs from Wednesday, December 7th through Sunday, December 18th and concludes with ACR’s next $1 million guaranteed tournament.

“Here we go again with another Online Super Series, bigger and better than ever,” stated Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris. “We’ve packed $3.1 million in guaranteed prize money into 12 days of non-stop poker action, but we anticipate final prize pools totaling way over that. No matter what happens, it’s going to be our biggest Online Super Series ever and an amazing way to close out the year.”

OSS VIII comes just three months after the last Online Super Series. Starting in late August, Americas Cardroom sandwiched an Online Super Series into the OSS Cub3d, a $4.5 million poker tournament series that started with a Mini Online Super Series (MOSS) and ended with a Bigger Online Super Series (BOSS).

While the last OSS featured $2.5 million guaranteed in prize money, Americas Cardroom is going all in by putting up more than $3.1 million this time around. It’s the biggest Online Super Series in the US-facing online poker site’s history.

OSS VIII also includes the next installment of the Million Dollar Sunday. The $1 million Guaranteed tournament has become a staple at Americas Cardroom. After a series of 6-figure overlays, the last two Million Dollar Sunday tournaments have exceeded their guarantees.

In addition to the $1 million guarantee, players will find 77 other big events, including two $100K GTDs, a $250K GTD and a $500K GTD. Players can choose from No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, The Cage, and a variety of formats including Turbos, Superstacks, Knockouts, and more. Buy-ins run as low as $1+0.10, making it one of Americas Cardroom’s most affordable tournament series yet.

Satellites for OSS VIII will be available soon at Americas Cardroom. More information on the OSS VIII can be found at AmericasCardroom.eu.

“Week Three” Sunday Morning Fantasy Advice and Injury Update

The NFL kicks off its first Sunday Early Slate of games1pm-kick-offs at 1 PM ET

Now is the time to finalize those last minute Fantasy line-ups and tune into your favorite Network Pre-Game shows and Sunday Morning Fantasy shows for the absolute latest in all NFL news, last second Fantasy suggestions and Injury Reports.

Since I posted my Week 3 Player selections for DraftKings and Fan Duel, there have been dozens of updates from all my fantasy sources and I was able to accumulate a few additional names to consider.

After all that, here are the basic players I’m sticking with for my numerous Week 3 Line-ups. I use different combinations of all these players (in different line ups) in order to maximize my potential.

This year I’m introducing BOLD PLAY’s on my Sunday morning report.

My Sunday morning reports will always have latest injury news, my top weekly plays listed and all players highlighted in BOLD are must plays. Some may very obvious plays, the others are just plain bold choices who could excel or fall flat on their faces.

Get as many Bold Plays into your line ups as possible……….

“Players in Bold, are Sunday must plays”

D Prescott DAL QB v CHI (CHI DEF is thin with injuries)

D Carr OAK QB v TEN (OAK can score/and they can’t stop anyone)

E Elliott DAL RB v CHI (see D Prescott)

C Michael SEA RB (starting for T Rawls v SF DEF)

M Gordon SD RB v IND (no Woodhead, now has a firm hold on all RB touches)

J Landry MIA WR v CLE (playing CLE)

A Cooper OAK WR (see D Carr)

T Benjamin SD WR v IND (last man standing)

T Williams SD WR v IND (last man standing)

D Bryant DAL WR v CHI (see D Prescott)

P Dorsett IND WR v SD (could be last standing IND WR)

Q Enunwa NYJ WR v KC (Has looked great and B Marshall has knee)

C Walford OAK TE v TEN ( TEN DEF very suspect v TE & WR’s)

D Allen IND TE (A Luck needs targets)

Pitta BAL TE (vs JAX DEF and projected low ownership this week)

MIA DEF v CLE ( CLE on 3rd QB this year)

DAL DEF v CHI (This game could get really ugly for CHI)

Also do whatever you can can to work any Monday Night combatants (should be a high scoring game) into your line-ups.  D Brees NO QB, B Cooks NO WR, M Ingram NO RB, T Cadet  NO RB, Matt Ryan ATL QB, J Jones ATL WR, D Freeman ATL RB, T Coleman ATL RB, J Tamme ATL TE. This will most likely be a shoot-out under the dome in New Orleans.

As always closely monitor the ACTIVE/INACTIVE reports prior to Kick-off, make sure everyone you are starting is playing…….

Key Injuries to closely monitor this morning:  Q = questionable, D = doubtful, GTD = game time decision

D Walker TEN TE Q, A Jeffery CHI WR Q, B Marshall NYJ WR GTD, TY Hilton IND Q, J Charles KC RB D, J Cutler CHI QB D, T Rawls SEA RB D, D Parker MIA WR Q, T Lockett SEA WR Q, E Ebron DET TE Q, C Ivory JAX RB Q, K Wright TEN WR Q

W Snead NO WR GTD plays Monday Night, I wouldn’t play him on Fan Duel

Players Definitely Out:

R Jennings NYG RB is out, A Gates SD TE is out, S Watkins BUF WR is out, J Stewart CAR RB is out, D Moncreif IND WR is out, C Coleman CLE is out, D Martin TB RB is out, A Foster MIA RB is out, Z Ertz PHI TE is out, Eifort CIN TE is out, D Woodhead SD RB is out, A Abdullah DET RB is out, J McCown CLE QB is out, A Peterson MIN RB is out, K Allen SD WR is out, D McFadden DAL RB is out, T Romo DAL QB is out, T Bridgewater MIN QB is out, T Brady NE is out.

As always I wish everyone who has a fantasy line up today—GOOD LUCK………….

DraftKings Week 3 NFL Line Up advice

Week 3 DraftKings Line Up Suggestions and Stacking advice.

Welcome to Week 3 on DraftKings….

Note: Updated September 21, 2016

Now that we have a week of NFL fantasy under our belts, we can maybe see a couple of trends developing? We haven’t seen everything, but we can sorta notice (we’re still mostly guessing at this point) how some things are developing.

Vegas has set some very low scoring overs for week 3, they seem to think scoring will be low this week with many notable defensive games. In fact there are 8 games projected to have total scoring of 44 points or less.

Week 3 Game Lines:

Higher Scoring Games: ATL at NO -3 (54), SD at IND -3 (52), DET at GB -7.5 (48), WAS at NYG -4.5 (46), OAK at TEN -1.5 (47)

Low Scoring Games: CLE at MIA -9.5 (41.5), MIN at CAR -7 (43), SF at SEA -9.5 (40), DEN at CIN -3 (41)

A few thoughts about the Week Three players and match-ups:

Week 2 saw a lot of anticipated fantasy scoring fail to materialize. Who knew that Saints and Giants could actually play some defense? Who knew the rain/wet conditions in Pittsburgh would affect the aerial attacks of the Steelers and Bengals to the extent it did?  Those 2 games alone severely hampered and disappointed many fantasy players.

Injuries also dotted the NFL landscape with several notable players going down in week 2.

Running back’s took the brunt of the mayhem with A Peterson MIN, A Foster MIA, D Martin TB, A Abdulah DET, J Stewart CAR and D Whitehead SD leading the list.

Injured Wide Receivers: D Moncrief IND and D Baldwin SEA.

Injured Quarterbacks: J Cutler CHI and J McCown CLE.

The Atlanta at New Orleans should be the game fantasy players key in on Monday Night. Make sure you have exposure in this one. Brees, Cooks, Snead, Ryan, Julio and Freeman all should be considered.

I’m also liking the Miami offense this week, namely R Tannehill QB, J Landry WR, D Parker WR and J Ajayi RB (monitor A Fosters status) all having a good days against the Cleveland Defense.

Start the MIA DEF against the Browns.

Matt Forte NYJ RB looks like he is 25 again, ride him again this week. Q Enunwa NYJ WR is also an interesting play, most defenses pay so much attention to B Marshall and E Decker he is often forgotten in coverage.

The SD at IND should also have a few nice fantasy plays. Play P Rivers SD QB and stack him with T Benjamin SD WR. A Gates SD TE should see even more targets with D Woodhead RB now on IR.

P Dorsett IND WR and D Allen IND TE will also be seeing more targets from A Luck IND QB with D Moncrief IND WR status still unknown at this time.

OAK at TEN should also be another battle of porous Defenses, make sure you get D Carr OAK QB, A Cooper OAK WR, L Murray OAK RB, M Mariota TEN QB, D Murray TEN RB, T Sharpe TEN WR and D Walker TEN TE added to your lineups wherever possible.

The Sunday night game features CHI at DAL. Chicago looked worse than Cleveland on Monday night. Start the DAL DEF (no J Cutler for CHI and B Hoyer is starting?) and this could be finally be the week that D Prescott and D Bryant finally hook up for a couple of long scores. E Elliott should have a excellent rushing game in the 2nd half with a big lead.

D Washington DET RB will be starting in  A Abdulahs place.

F Whittaker CAR RB will start in J Stewarts place.

Play on Week Three for Free on DraftKings, with any deposit.

Players and their salaries I am targeting this week on DraftKings.

QB’s: R Tannehill MIA 6200, R Fitzpatrick NYJ 5900, D Prescott DAL 5700

RB’s: F Whittaker CAR 3800, M Forte NYJ 7000, C Simms TB 4900, M Asiata MIN 3000, J Ajayi MIA 4000, M Gordon SD 5800

WR’s: J Landry MIA 6600, T Sharpe TEN 4700, Q Enunwa NYJ 4800, T Benjamin SD 5200

TE’s: D Walker TEN 5000, J James PIT 3500

DEF: MIA 3000, ARI 3600, TB 3100, DAL 2500

Top Stacks: Tannehill/Landry MIA 12800, Prescott/ Bryant DAL 14100

Injury updates: J Charles is expected to play this week in a limited manner. C Ivory JAX RB and T Eifort CIN TE returned to practice this week.

New Injuries to watch:  A Foster MIA RB, R Jennings NYG RB, J Cutler CHI QB,

Out: C Coleman CLE WR, J Stewart CAR RB, A Peterson MIN RB, D Moncreif IND WR, D Martin TB RB, A Abdullah DET RB, J McCown CLE QB, D Woodhead SD RB, RG3 CLE QB, K Allen SD WR, T Romo DAL QB, D Lewis NE RB, B Watson BAL TE, T Bridgewater MIN QB

Suspensions of note: T Brady NE QB, L Bell PIT RB, J Gordon CLE WR, J Brown NYG K

“Week Two” Sunday Morning Fantasy Advice and Injury Update

The NFL kicks off its first Sunday Early Slate of games1pm-kick-offs at 1 PM ET

Now is the time to finalize those last minute Fantasy line-ups and tune into your favorite Network Pre-Game shows for the absolute latest in all NFL news, last second Fantasy suggestions and Injury Reports.

Since I posted my Week One Player selections for DraftKings and Fan Duel, there have been dozens of updates from all my fantasy sources and I was able to accumulate a few additional names to consider.

After all that, here are the basic players I’m sticking with for my numerous Week 2 Line-ups.

Get as many Bold Plays into your line ups as possible.

The Monday Night game of PHI at CHI could be a stinker, the Vegas line has CHI as a -3 favorite with an over of just 42.5…. However, there are a couple of players on Monday night that you could put your line ups over the top with some late week fantasy scoring. I’m sprinkling in at least one of these players into my SUN. / MON. tournament line ups:

A Jeffery CHI WR, J Langford CHI RB, R Mathews PHI RB, J Matthews PHI WR, B Celek PHI TE and K White CHI WR. I think A Jeffery is your best play on Monday Night.

“Players in Bold, are Sunday must plays”

E Manning NYG QB / D Brees NO QB The Saints and Giants scored almost a 100 points total when they played last season, either guy would be a great play.

D Prescott DAL QB (Still a Value play on all sites)

T Rawls SEA RB (he was named as the starting RB this week)

L Blount NE RB (Patriots will use him to kill clock in 2nd half)

T J Yeldon JAX RB (no C Ivory this week)

A Brown PIT WR (he is a weekly play, work him in somehow)

O Beckham Jr NYG WR (see Manning/Brees comment)

B Cooks NO WR (see Manning/Brees comment)

T Benjamin SD WR (should be targeted a lot without K Allen in Chargers line up)

A Cooper OAK WR

A Robinson JAX WR

AJ Green CIN WR (vs PIT)

E Rogers PIT WR (vs CIN)

T Sharpe TEN WR (still a great value)

CJ Uzomah CIN TE (use to open salary space)

C Walford OAK TE (use to open salary space)

SEA DEF

CAR DEF

As always closely monitor the ACTIVE/INACTIVE reports prior to Kick-off, make sure everyone you are starting is playing…….

It looks like J Jones ATL WR and D Freeman ATL RB are good to go today.

Russell Wilson will be starting for the Seahawks and TE J Graham will likely be more involved in the Seahawks offense. The SEA DEF is a great play today vs the LA Rams. T Rawls will be starting at RB for the Seahawks today.

R Gronkowski NE TE is still a Game Time decision, probably won’t play.

J Charles KC RB won’t play in week 2 but may return in week 3, start S Ware KC RB this week.

C Ivory JAX RB is out, start TJ Yeldon JAX RB in his place.

Key Injuries to Monitor:  TY Hilton IND WR, J Stewart CAR RB, M Sanu ATL WR, R Gronkowski NE TE, D Thomas DEN WR, S Watkins BUF WR, J Thomas JAX TE, C Ivory JAX RB, J Charles KC RB, Z Ertz PHI TE,

K Allen SD WR is out, D McFadden DAL RB is out, T Eifort CIN TE is out, T Romo DAL QB is out, T Bridgewater MIN QB is out, T Brady NE is out.

As always I wish everyone who has a fantasy line up today—GOOD LUCK………….

There’s still plenty of time to get your line-ups in before today’s KICK OFF’s on DraftKings and Fan Duel

DraftKings Week 2 NFL Line Up advice

Week 2 DraftKings Line Up Suggestions and Stacking advice.

Welcome to Week 2 on DraftKings….

Note: I’ll be updating this post as more information becomes available

Now that we have a week of NFL fantasy under our belts, we can maybe see a couple of trends developing? We haven’t seen everything, but we can sorta notice (we’re still mostly guessing at this point) how some things are developing.

Vegas has set some very high scoring overs for week 2, they seem to think scoring will be up in 2016, so I am looking at some very high scores for us fantasy guys this week.

Week 2 Game Lines:

Higher Scoring Games: TEN at DET -5.5 (47), CIN at PIT -5 (47.5), NO at NYG -5 (52.5), TAM at ARI -6.5 (50), SF at CAR -14 (48.5), ATL at OAK-4.5 (48)

Low Scoring Games: PHI at CHI -3 (42.5), MIA at NE -6.5 (41.5)

A few thoughts about the Week Two players and match-ups:

I benefited greatly using D Williams PIT RB and A Brown PIT WR on Monday Night on week one, I’m going to ride the Steelers offensive studs until further notice. AJ Green CIN WR excelled in week one, expect him to see numerous opportunities in a high scoring game with the Steelers this week.

Until further notice start whatever defensive team is playing the LA Rams, this week it’s the Seattle Seahawks.

SF is at CAR this week, The 49er DEF held the LA Rams to 0 points. The Panthers are not the Rams. I’m looking at C Newton QB,  K Benjamin WR, G Olsen TE, T Ginn WR and J Stewart RB all as very playable this week at home.

S Ware RB KC had a great week one against the Chargers, He’s up against a better HOU DEF this week and we still don’t know if J Charles will be available. Start Ware, but don’t expect a 30 point game.

JAX is visiting SD this week, I’m liking the Jaguars to rebound from their week one loss to GB in a big way. B Bortles JAX QB, A Robinson JAX WR and A Hurns JAX WR should put up bigger numbers against he Chargers DEF this week. K Allen SD WR was put on the IR with a knee after week one, this makes T Benjamin SD WR, T Williams SD WR and A Gates SD TE more viable targets for P Rivers SD QB to throw to.

Arizona lost to NE on Sunday night, look for the Cardinals to take out some revenge against TB this week. Make sure you get D Johnson ARI RB, L Fitzgerald ARI WR and M Floyd ARI WR in your line ups,  I can see J Winston TB QB throwing an awful lot to play catch up with M Evans TB WR being the big target for Winston.

T Sharpe TEN WR didn’t disappoint in week one, look for him to continue to prosper this week against DET.

D Prescott DAL QB had an okay ( 10.3 fp’s) first start for the Cowboys, his price increased to 5800 on week 2, which is still a great value for the starting QB on a good offensive team in what should be a high scoring game against Washington.

QB’s: C Newton CAR 7900, B Roethlisberger PIT 7500, K Cousins WAS 7000, Bortles JAX 6700, D Prescott DAL 5800

RB’s: J Stewart CAR 5400, D Williams PIT 7100, D Woodhead SD 5200, Langford CHI 4600, R Mathews PHI 5800, S Ware SD 6100

Did you use the DK Live app on Sunday?

DraftKings rolled out their new mobile app DK Live last Thursday,

When I wrote about it last week, I promised to try it out on Sunday with a full NFL schedule of games playing.

I spent a lot of time on DK Live and played with all the features while flipping thru the early NFL games on TV.

I thought it worked very well, I bounced from single game play by play, to red zone plays, to my players scoring and back continually. I had multiple line ups going and quite a few players to monitor.

The App is a little slow when posting plays and scoring when compared to the TV action, but all online sports scoring app’s are also similarly delayed.

You cannot change or view your line ups from DK Live, you can only monitor individual player results and not whole line up scores.

You can however go directly to your account on the DraftKings App (click the DK crown on bottom right) and make line up changes and view your contest line up scores there……

This is App perfect if your on the road, at a party, at work or anywhere to monitor real games, your fantasy players and see which real players around the league are having a kick ass fantasy days.

Download it today on your App store and use it to make your DraftKings experience complete.

DK Live

Draftkings introduced a new App “DK Live”on the first Thursday Night Game of 2016.

DK Live is a new way to monitor every real game for up to date Fantasy Scoring on DraftKings.

On the App you can choose the game you want to monitor and see how the key players are scoring on DraftKings live as it happens.

The live scoring is play by play and player fantasy scoring is shown at the bottom of each plays description.

This App is free to download on your App store.

It worked great with just the one live NFL game last night, I only had a couple select players going but was able to see how each play affected my fantasy scoring. I’m going to use this Sunday to see how it works with several games playing at the same time.

You can also access updated league wide fantasy news right from the app.

Get scoring highlights, (no Video) which include fantasy impact from any game and link to your DK account directly.
